60 years of Ferdinand-Von-Miller-Realschule: A festival of memories!

Fürstenfeldbruck, Deutschland - The Ferdinand-von-Miller-Realschule in Fürstenfeldbruck celebrates an impressive anniversary: 60 years full of education and development! Former students flocked to the celebration to refresh memories and take a group photo. Headmistress Gundula Socher proudly reported on the beginnings of the school, which began in 1964 with only eight classes and 20 teachers. Today the largest junior high school in the district is a real educational center with 39 classes, 1031 students from 40 nations and 84 teachers. A real upswing that made the school to an important part of the community.

The changes in the past six decades are breathtaking! From the classic leather pours to modern backpacks, from the board to the digital screen - the school has adapted to modern times. Deputy headmistress Christina von Breitenbach explains how digitization has revolutionized school management. The theater group brought the drastic changes to the stage with humorous representations, while Ferdinand von Miller, the famous sculptor, marveled at the modern school world in a costume. "The modern era is strange to me, but it looks that everything stays well," he summed up.

Mayor Christian Götz, who himself worked as a teacher at the school from 2011 to 2013, remembered his time and the valuable experiences that he gained there. "This is an open, friendly and future -oriented school," he emphasized. Rector Socher proudly presented the new school motto "Fairness Diversity with each other", which is very important in everyday school life. At the anniversary celebration, the fifth graders showed with an impressive dance performance how alive this motto was implemented. The celebration ended with a teacher choir and lively conversations in snacks and sparkling wine - a worthy conclusion for a remarkable anniversary!
