Neuhausen im Enzkreis, a community in Baden-Württemberg, is about to celebrate its big anniversary: next year it will celebrate 50 years since the formation of the entire community, which was created in 1975 from the former communities of Neuhausen, Schellbronn, Steinegg and Hamberg. Mayor Sabine Wagner (independent) announced to the municipal council that a series of festive events are planned to mark this special occasion, including an anniversary gala on February 1, 2025. This event will feature a festive three-course menu and the awarding of the municipal medal for deserving citizens. An extensive celebration program
The anniversary year will host special highlights, including the so-called after-work party, which will take place on the town hall square every first Thursday from May to September. Accompanied by a competition for the most beautiful front garden, there are plans to transform the town hall square into a straw landscape. On June 21, 2025, Schellbronn will shine in bright colors at a festival of lights, and on July 12, a big castle festival in Steinegg and a star hike in all districts are on the agenda. Neuhausen, with a population of 5,281 and an area of around 30 square kilometers, is located around 12 kilometers southeast of Pforzheim and is part of the Black Forest Central/North Nature Park. The municipality extends over agricultural land, forests and has a high recreational value with several nature reserves. In the anniversary year, the celebrations combine with preserving traditions and promoting a sense of community in this lively community, which impresses with its location and culture.
