The Knill Group's business with Russia has come under heavy criticism due to new reports. This discussion was initiated by a query response from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, which stated that a “sensitization discussion” had already taken place with the Knill Group in 2021. Götze stressed that the seriousness of the sanctions against Russia that have been in place since 2014 should not be questioned and called for more transparency regarding exports that could potentially be used for military purposes, as reported by OTS emerges.
