Tobogganing accidents shock: young people from Somalia seriously injured!
A dramatic incident shook the region on Thursday and Tuesday with two serious tobogganing accidents, which demanded numerous injuries. In the district of Neunkirchen, a 14-year-old girl from Somalia suffered injuries on Semmering when she entered the toboggan run without a helmet. At an unfortunate moment, she overlooked the entrance to the toboggan run and got on the "Kogel descent" ski slope, where she crashed into a barrier. She was immediately flown to the Landesklinikum Wiener Neustadt with the helicopter "Christophorus 3", but so far there has been no further information about her current state of health, as the Krone reported.
serious injuries to students
Just a few days later, two students from Vienna, 14 and 15 years old, were seriously injured in another tobogganing accident in the Koglhof leisure facility in the Birkfeld community. The two girls fell out of the track in a left turn. A subsequent student, also from Vienna, was no longer able to slow down in time and collided with the tobogganing tobogganing. They suffered serious leg injuries and were also transported to the LKH Graz with rescue helicopters. The police confirmed that the cause of the fall is still unclear and announced further investigations, such as OE24 reported.
The two incidents put a clear light on the dangers of tobogganing, especially if safety precautions such as wearing helmets are disregarded. The injuries are shaken to both the girls concerned and their families and show the need for precautionary measures in leisure activities.
