A heavy train fire at Ahrensfelde train station in Berlin-Marzahn has far-reaching consequences for regional rail traffic. After the fire of a train of the Niederbarnim railway on November 2, 2024, in which luckily no people were injured, Deutsche Bahn estimates the repair work at the train station for several months.
