Landjugend Lower Austria: Project Marathon winner and new ideas!
Wieselburg, Österreich - A spectacular event adorned the Wieselburg exhibition center last weekend: the day of the Lower Austria rural youth! Under the motto "We continue to grow", around 3,000 enthusiastic members gathered to appreciate the best projects of this year's project marathon. The rural youth Neustadtl emerged as a radiant winner and with her project "Give everything together - revitalize the Neustadter Jakobsweg!" the national victory. This was reported by the Tips.at
As part of the ceremony, which was opened with a Holy Mass, the outgoing state manager Anja Bauer was able to look back on a successful year. This year, impressive 108 groups took part that implemented a wide range of tasks in just 42.195 hours- from the design of cycle and hiking trails to the restoration of bridges. A firework of creative projects
The award was a highlight of the festival, with the performance of the young people celebrating. The Ardagger rural youth group, for example, received a bronze award for their project "New hairstyle for the Danube wave park". Silver went to the Landjugend Ernsthofen, whose project "View" encouraged climate change. A total of 37 golden, 43 silver and 20 bronze awards were distributed, which demonstrates the impressive creativity and team spirit of the rural series. The great support was also recognized by top -class guests, including Federal Chancellor Karl Nehammer and other prominent representatives who were enthusiastic about the performance of the young people.
