Anja Listmann receives Obermayer Award for 30 years of commitment!
Fulda, Deutschland - on January 27, 2025, the international Holocaust Memorial Day, Anja Listmann will be awarded the Obermayer Award. The award is awarded for her 30-year commitment to the concerns of Jewish people in Fulda, Bad Salzschlirf, Germany and worldwide. Listmann was surprised when she was informed about the honor by Joel Obermayer.
The Obermayer Award will be awarded for the 25th time this year and takes place in the Berlin Red town hall under the patronage of ruling Mayor Kai Wegener. This prize recognizes individuals and organizations in Germany who are committed to the preservation of Jewish history and culture and fight against anti -Semitism. The price-resistant jury consists of experts in memory work, Jewish-German history, human rights and social justice.

This year, in addition to Anja Listmann, Petra Michalski (Berlin), eyes at e.V. (Oberlausitz), Schalker Fan-Initiative e.V. (Gelsenkirchen) and Steffen Hänschen (Berlin) as well as Harald Höflein (Ober-Ramstadt) are honored. The Obermayer Award, launched by Arthur Obermayer (1931-2016), aims to promote the commitment to hate, discrimination, anti-Semitism and racism and to support the communication between different groups.
