Wiener Seestadt, Österreich - On May 15, 2025, the "Best Workplaces Austria" by Great Place to Work Austria was ceremoniously awarded in the event location Ariana in Vienna. This year the honor took place for the 23rd time and highlights the best employers in the country. The awards are based on anonymous employees on various criteria that are crucial for employer attractiveness.

In times of the shortage of skilled workers, the award is of particular importance. The best employers not only show an above -average economic performance, but also offer an environment that motivates and binds employees. A current analysis of Wifor emphasizes that increasing demands on employers and a stricter competition for qualified specialists create an environment in which employer attractiveness becomes a decisive competitive factor.

The criteria for employer attractiveness

The five relevant factors for the financial performance of the companies include a trusting corporate culture, strong leadership, an agile innovation culture, employee loyalty and commitment as well as sustainability. These points promote the working atmosphere and employee satisfaction. According to Wifor, the fulfillment of central attractiveness factors is important to attract talents and keep in the company in the long term.

Wifor reports that employer attractiveness can be promoted, among other things, by responsibility for decisions, scope for design, identification with the company and a balanced work-life balance. First place in the m (100–249 employees) went to Comprei Reinraum-Handr- and Training GesmbH, followed by Abbvie GmbH and RAG Austria AG. In the category S (50–99 employees), Arthrex Austria GesmbH won. Client4U IT-Consulting GmbH was awarded in category XS (20–49 employees).
