FH Campus Vienna becomes the University of Applied Sciences!
The FH Campus Vienna renamed July 14, 2025 and is now entitled "University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna". This name change is part of the amended University of Applied Sciences Act, which has been in force since July 2024. With the new name, the university would like to highlight its application -oriented research and increase its international visibility. The Campus Wien University of Applied Sciences is the largest and most diverse university for applied sciences in Austria with seven departments and over 70 study programs. Your approximately 8,500 students are enrolled at two locations and two cooperation locations. The courses offered are located in the areas of applied nursing science, applied life sciences, building and designing, health sciences, social issues, technology as well as administration, business, security and politics. In addition, the university operates application -oriented research in ten subject -specific research centers that deal with significant technological, economic and social developments.
