Mayor Thaler demands training costs of 21,900 euros!

The Mayor of Eching, Thaler, wants to complete the "Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA)" at the "Iese Business School" in Munich and Barcelona. The town hall administration has already sent signals that funding from the municipality is not without controversy. The local supervision found that the studies could bring an advantage on the job market, but was not absolutely necessary for the function as mayor. This is also requested by the local council, whose members rejected the application with 23 to 1 votes. Criticism came mainly from CSU and SPD, which pointed out the lack of necessity and the existing incidents. The moral aspect was also addressed in the debate after Thaler had publicly criticized the municipal council in the past. Only his deputy from the Greens spoke out for the application.

Support for students in Höchst
