75% of Germans dissatisfied with the government's migration policy!
A bang in Germany! The latest survey reveals explosive details: An overwhelming majority of citizens are convinced that the Federal Government's immigration policy is more harmful than beneficial. For a long time, the displeasure is bubbling over the uncontrolled immigration, which the country presents challenges with immense challenges. Now it is official: Around 75 percent of Germans agree that the government is doing far too little against illegal migration. A devastating judgment that causes a sensation in the run -up to the upcoming state elections in Bavaria and Hesse. The editorial network Germany (RND) has published these explosive numbers that shake the whole country.
But that's not all! The ARD has also noticed in the current Germany trend alarming numbers. Almost two thirds of the Germans now speak out to ensure that our country should accommodate fewer refugees. A drastic turn compared to previous surveys that shows how serious the situation is. According to the ARD study, the topics of accommodation and integration of refugees are a certificate of poverty in current politics. A total of 78 percent of Germans are dissatisfied with the integration of refugees into the labor market or society. And the deportation practice? There is nothing to get soberly: 80 percent are convinced that rejected asylum seekers are not brought out of the country quickly.
The desire for tightened measures
The criticism of migration policy culminates in a dramatic call for tightened measures. Shocking 82 percent support for stronger border controls, and 77 percent want agreements with African countries to contain refugee flows. Yes, the majority even call for the classification of countries such as Algeria and Tunisia as safe countries of origin. An old debate flares up again: the idea of an “integration limit” for asylum seekers is again on the table. According to CSU boss Markus Söder, 71 percent of Germans see such a limit as necessary. With the exception of the Greens, this claim runs by all partisans.
The split opinion on the Federal Government
Despite this heated debate, the support for democracy seems to be strong. 87 percent of West Germans and 77 percent of East Germans describe democracy as the best form of government. But behind the facade the satisfaction crumbles: According to an ARD survey, a total of 55 percent are dissatisfied with the functioning of democracy in Germany. A value that has increased by eight percentage points since last October. In East Germany, dissatisfaction with 66 percent is even more pronounced. These alarming voices show that the frustration over the political grievances is also located elsewhere.
Overall, the German view of immigration has become significantly more critical. According to an ARD survey, 64 percent of mostly see disadvantages in migration. An increase of ten percentage points compared to previous data, which illustrates how serious skepticism is now. At the same time, the demand for a European solution to the refugee problem is strong, even if 70 percent of the respondents do not believe that such a solution could be realized soon.
In a political climate shaken by crises, Germany is more than ever faced with the challenge of smoothing the waves and developing a unanimous, sustainable migration policy. But the numbers speak a clear language: the patience of the citizens is extremely stressed, and the demand for changes is becoming increasingly louder, as the survey results of the editorial network Germany and the ARD unequivocally clarify.
