The average 15.4 days that were dependent on sick leave in 2023 speak volumes about this problem. A lack of movement and poorly designed office furniture contribute to these symptoms. Occupational therapists recommend ergonomic chairs and height -adjustable desks as solutions to improve the work situation. Studies on the work situation in the open -plan office also show that high noise levels and lack of retreats significantly impair productivity. Almost 25 percent of the employees feel disturbed by noise and distractions, which significantly reduces their concentration.

A current study by the online research institute Marketagent now reveals the terrifying reality of the stress level in Austria. The average stress value is 3.8 on a scale of 1 to 7. Special stress factors are professional requirements, time pressure and financial concerns. The most affected include young people between the ages of 14 and 19, where a whopping 48 % indicate, through school and professional challenges, such as ots reports. The consequences are serious: almost 70 % of the respondents complain about long -term physical complaints that they attribute to stress, including sleep disorders and emotional irritability.
The fact that 15 % of the study participants have already experienced a burnout is particularly alarming, while a third knows people in their environment. Experts urgently demand more attention and support for those affected, especially for young people in educational institutions and during vocational training. Stress management should become an integral part of schools and companies in order to implement preventive measures in good time and to strengthen the resilience of people, which is essential in today's hectic working world.
