Palmers Textil AG: Future in danger - close 36 branches!
This morning, March 4, 2025, the creditors of Palmers Textil AG gathered at the Wiener Neustadt regional court for the first meeting of creditors as part of the renovation process. The lawyer Mag. Maria-Christina Nau was deployed as a renovation under the renovation and presented the initial report. The financing of the operational company is currently secured, although several difficult measures have been decided: 36 branches have to conclude based on economic considerations, which concerns 117 employees, such as Apa-OTS reported.
The corporate management is optimistic, however, that the renovation will be successful. Talks are currently underway with three potential investors who could give hope for fresh capital. During the assembly of creditors, the renovation agent advocated that the procedure will be continued with self -administration without disadvantages, such as Textilwirtschaft . In addition, the creditors present did not apply for withdrawal of self -administration, which gives the corporate management additional tailwind.
The specific steps towards restructuring show the seriousness of the situation, but also the determination of leading Palmers into a stable future. The ongoing investor talks are crucial to consolidate the financial basis of the company and to cope with the existing challenges. It remains to be seen whether negotiations with the potential investors are successful and Palmers can be brought back to the right course.
