Österreich - Currently, the spring wage negotiation in Austria ensures massive pressure in the salary landscape! From now on, tens of thousands from employees benefit from amazing salary increases. kosmo.at reports that around 9,000 employees of the Propak industry can expect an increase of 2.9 percent from this month. It is interesting that the minimum wage in this industry increases from 2,300 euros gross to EUR 2,366.70. Apprentices can also be happy: their salaries rise between 2.9 and 3.9 percent. In the steel industry there is a similar development with an increase of 3.33 percent and a new minimum wage of EUR 2,191.04 gross per month. Also in the sugar industry, equivalent increases of 3.33 percent and a minimum wage of 2,222.55 euros are planned from March 2025.
