Mourning for parish vicar Jude Uzukwu: a heart for people and education

On Tuesday, December 10th, the popular parish vicar Jude Uzuku died after a short illness at the age of 53. He has been active in pastoral care for the municipalities of Frättingsdorf, Hörersdorf and Siebenhirten since 2014, where he was appreciated for his happy and helpful way. Originally born in Nigeria, he had the desire to become a priest at an early stage, supported by his mother. After his ordination in 1999, he worked in his homeland for some time before he came to Austria in 2007 to continue his way of life here. During his time in Vienna, he completed two master's studies and took on various pastoral tasks.
