The 30th anniversary of the Institute of Radiology was recently celebrated in the State Clinic Scheibbs. At this festive event, the employees were given the opportunity to visit the modern premises and highly developed facilities of radiology. State Councilor Ludwig Schleritzko praised the committed team: "Today I would like to thank you personally and on behalf of the Scheibbs State Clinic, especially with the Radiology team for the valuable work, which is done here with so much commitment to a very diverse area of responsibility." These words underline the central role of radiology in the medical care of the country.

In the course of the past three decades, radiology has developed into an indispensable part of the clinic. In 1965 only 520 X -ray examinations were carried out, while around 33,000 X -rays were already made in 2024. In addition to X-ray and illuminating recordings, around 6,000 computer tomographies and around 3,000 ultrasound examinations are part of the offer every year. Under the direction of Prim. Dr. Arnold Heisinger and radiology technologist Gerald Eibner, consisting of specialists and medical-technical experts, coordinates the diagnoses.
