Phoenix celebrates 25 years in the fight against sexual abuse!
Wilhelmstrasse 4, 78532 Tuttlingen, Deutschland - The association Phönix e.V. in Tuttlingen recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, a milestone in the fight against sexual abuse. At the anniversary celebration, the first chairwoman Sandra Kienzle-d’Annesto welcomed numerous guests, including representatives from the city and the district, as well as supporters of the association. It emphasized the importance of the donations that form 70 % of the financial basis and presented the Phoenix team. The social director Bernd Mager and the first mayor Uwe Keller estimated the valuable work of the association and the long cooperation valuable in their speeches, such as Schwaebische.de reported.
The celebration also offered cultural highlights, including musical contributions by award winners of the “Jugend musiciert” competition. Sabine Dietrich, the longest -serving employee, reported in her moody speech about the foundation of the association in 1997 and the challenges that he mastered over the years. The representation of the magician and mentalist David Pricking, who amazed the audience with his skills, was particularly impressive. As part of the prevention projects, further training for specialists on the subject of sexual abuse are planned for February and March, which are advertised on the website of the association, as Phoenix-tuttlingen.de
Phönix e.V. offers information, advice and support for those affected by sexual abuse as well as for relatives and specialists. The name "Phoenix" symbolizes the climb from the ashes, the hope of a life beyond the trauma. The association thus supports those affected to process their experiences and lead a fulfilling life in which the abuse is no longer the dominant element.
