The Nova Rock Festival 2025, which took place from June 11th to 14th, attracts numerous fans year after year with its variety of strong acts and exciting performances. Particular highlights of the festival were the energetic performances by Sawyer Hill, who thrilled with his blues-rock, and by the Croatian artist Baby Lasagna, who attracted the audience with songs like “Rim Tim Dagi Tim” and “Biggie Boom Boom”. The Swedish band Refused also delivered possibly their last performance in Austria by playing nostalgic hits.

Airbourne returned to the stage after a long break and presented new music in an explosive stage show. Slipknot's aggressive performance, which delivered a precise 90-minute best-of set, did not go unmentioned, even if it took place without founding member Clown. Corey Taylor's gratitude for the support of the Austrian fans made her performance all the more emotional.

Folkshilfe used their set to make a socio-political statement, while Lorna Shore and Whitechapel performed at the same time, which led to a mishap. The festival ended with thrilling performances from Electric Callboy, Idles and Wanda.

The Nova Rock Festival will take place again in 2026, and the first confirmed acts are already known: Bring Me The Horizon and The Offspring will take the stage, which increases the anticipation among fans. Early Bird Festival passes and VIP tickets will be available from Monday at 12:00 p.m Nova Rock reported. Gasteiner will be named as the festival's new presenter, and the option to pre-order drinks via a cashless account will also be offered to improve visitor convenience.

The arrival information has also changed: The “Mönchhof” motorway exit is recommended, while the “Nickelsdorf” exit should not be used. Festival visitors can also look forward to a Grill & Chill Area, which is open daily from Wednesday to Saturday, with OBI providing grills and accessories free of charge.
