Mann pictures opens the new advice center in Innsbruck: a milestone for men's help!
Anichstraße 11, 6020 Innsbruck, Österreich - The new floor of the Mann pictures of the Advisory Center at Anichstraße 11 was recently opened in Innsbruck, where all services are now offered. This comprehensive expansion was funded with 30,000 euros from the state of Tyrol, and in 2024 266,000 euros are also planned for man pictures. In 2023, the advice center recorded a total of 3,300 consultations with 1,038 clients, of which over a third between 12 and 29 years old were, such as reported.

The clients look for the advice center either on their own drive or due to official orders. In fact, around 80 percent of clients who claim men's advice have come on their own, or were pointed out by third parties. In 2023 there were over 5,100 consultations in all of Tyrol, which represents an increase of 30 percent compared to 2021. This shows the increasing need for men to address topics such as masculinity and prevention of violence.
A significant part of this work is made possible by the project "Prevention of Violence and Men's Ministry of Men's Ministry of Social Affairs, in which around 800 consultations per year take place. In addition, around 80 workshops are carried out annually at schools and youth facilities that deal with topics related to conflicts, violence and sexuality

According to Managing Director Gotthard Bertsch, studies show that men who find a balance between working and care work lead a healthier life and have a low risk of suicide. The current statistics illustrate the trend that traditional role models are more likely to comment on young people, which underlines the importance of projects and images.
