On the Old Year's Day, employees of the church and parish were invited to a festive drink in the parish in Behamberg. This invitation was special because parish council Karl Brandstetter celebrated his 60th birthday that day. Parish moderator P. The story of the parish of St. Pius

The parish of St. Pius has a long tradition that started in 1957 with the founding of the Papierer-Viertel church building association. This step fell under the then pastor Josef Karl, who died in 1962. The parish of St. Nikola is therefore considered a mother parish. Between 1928 and 1962 the parish of St. Nikola experienced an increase in believers from 500 to around 10,000. The decisive factor was the construction of the new church of St. Pius, which started in 1961 and brought many challenges, among other things, a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony, which took place in the presence of numerous creditors.
