On the evening of December 28, 2024, a devastating fire broke out in an apartment building in Degersheim, Switzerland. A few weeks earlier, on January 15, 2024, the Leibnitz city fire brigade was alerted to another apartment fire in Obergralla. In this case, a fire broke out on the upper floor of a house, but for previously unknown reasons.
