A new milestone in the construction industry has been reached: The BMK guiding project Kraisbau has officially started its work to promote circular and sustainable construction industry. With 32 partners, including companies and research institutions, Kraisbau combines extensive knowledge and expertise in order to develop forward -looking strategies. As ÖKONWS.AT is used in various working groups on topics that go beyond pure recycling and explore new ways for the building stock.

The integration of artificial intelligence plays a central role in this project. These technologies are intended to help record data quickly and automatically and offer support in planning construction measures. According to kraisbau.at , the use of digitization experts in the consortium is a strategy to develop innovative solutions. "With AI we create simple and scalable solutions in dealing with the building stock," explains a representative of the project.

Another important aspect of the Kraisbau project is the development of factsheets, road maps and training that make the developed know-how accessible to the entire industry.
