An overwhelming story of sympathy and support: A family from Tulbing in Lower Austria has received an anonymous donation of 100,000 euros after a devastating flood. In September, when the water entered her home, Kenana Musaefendic and her family had just moved into their new house two years ago. The flood caused massive damage, which means that the family had to temporarily find accommodation from neighbors. In the ORF program "Current after one" Kenana Musaefendic emotionally described her experiences and the extent of the destruction that her house suffered, as noe.orf reported.

The winding story took an unexpected turn when an anonymous donor who introduced himself as a member of a family of entrepreneurs from Upper Austria reacted to the description of Kenana. "Especially after a long, laborious work, the new house was completed and then suddenly back to the start through the flood," the donor explained his motives. The generous donation brought the family back to the family after the horrors of the flood had heavily burdened them. Kenana Musaefendic was deeply moved by this gesture: "You can only find a person like this once in life," she said. Overall, the damage to the house amounts to around 190,000 euros, of which 100,000 euros are covered by the donation and 60,000 euros from the country.
