Langenstein, Österreich - Today, on February 28, 2025, there was a serious traffic accident on the B3 between Langenstein and Luftenberg. Three people were injured in this frontal collision from two vehicles. Fortunately, no occupants were trapped in the vehicles. The fire brigades of Luftenberg and Langenstein, together with an emergency doctor and rescue teams, were quickly on site to help with the rescue. The B3 was completely closed during the rescue and clean-up work, as Steinkellner explained that the work is useful during the holiday season, since the traffic decreases by up to 25 percent during this period. A bridge structure was also done in a train for the renovation, which requires a complete lock lasting five days. This decision turned out to be advantageous because a one -sided block would have taken significantly longer and would have been more expensive. The State Council demanded that the positive and rapid completion of the renovation measure should be taken as an occasion to reduce tensions and deal constructively with each other.
