Two demos in Vienna: Transport chaos on June 6th threaten!

On Saturday, June 6, 2025, the streets of Vienna are in the sign of two important demonstrations that will lead to significant traffic disruptions. These demos, which start in the city center from around 4:30 p.m., have both an emotional and political concern. The first event is a commemoration of the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica. The memorial demonstration for Srebrenica is expected to continue until 6:00 p.m. and begins at Christian-Broda-Platz. With around 3,000 participants: a large crowd can be expected inside. The route leads via Mariahilfer Straße, Babenbergerstraße, past the ring to Maria-Theresien-Platz.
