As part of the "16 days against violence against women" campaign, an extensive range of information in the city's libraries will be provided in Vienna until December 10th. The helplines of the 24-hour women's emergency call and the Viennese women's shelters are printed on every rental bon. This initiative is intended to draw attention to the extensive effects of gender -specific violence. Vice Mayor and City Councilor Christoph Return (NEOS) emphasized the importance of sensitization, prevention and victim protection: "Violence against women must not have any space in our city," said return.
