FRAUENTAL, Österreich - On December 23, a moving commemoration for Christmas commemorative memory at the war memorial took place in Frauental. Organized by the ÖKB Frauental, primarily under the direction of chairman Helmut Prattes, numerous citizens gathered in front of the monument, including Mayor Günter Steinbauer and municipal councils. The FF Frauental fire brigade youth was also present and set up a mulled wine stand that underlined the festive mood of the event. With the inflammation of a candle that symbolized the peace light, a sign of peace was set, while word service manager Franz Deutschmann addressed those present with contemplative words before chairman prattes called for reflection on the values ​​of the community.

But also the Musikkapelle Groß St. Florian, one of the strongest music bands in the country, has recently caused a sensation. Under the direction of President Erich Und, chairman Johann Posch and conductor Gerald Oswald, the chapel not only impresses with its number of over 100 active musicians, but also with their musical quality. The chapel was able to shine at various scoring games, including the concert score in the Leibnitz music district, where it achieved excellent success in the highest rating class E. It is particularly noteworthy that they are represented in the concert ranking and the marching ranking in level E, which means very special success for the chapel, as was determined as part of the upcoming marching ranking at the district music festival in Frauental.

Both events - the Christmas commemorations and the success of the music band - an expression of a strong sense of community and the cultural diversity in the region, which not only keeps memories, but also sets new standards in musical performance.
