Sonnberg's bustle of fools inspires with colorful costumes and donuts!

The 26th Sonnberg Fool's Driving is in full swing! On Mardi Gras Sunday, locals and visitors enjoyed a spectacular move through Sonnberg in bright imperial weather. The Association for Heimatpflege Sonnberg, under the direction of chairman Josef Keck, organized the event after a three-year break, which was caused by the Corona pandemic. In colorful and creative costumes, 13 groups presented themselves, including the ÖVP Hollabrunn, which pulled through the streets as "yellow sacks". The highlights included the crazy roller coaster, the fantastic "Chilleroo-Hexen" and the musical accompaniment of local mayor Roman Heiden.

A special pleasure for the spectators were the sweet carnival donuts, Claudia Keck and Erich Brechelmacher in the Krapfen-Mobil. Supported by the best donut seller Emma, they ensured that the hungry visitors did not have to go empty. The brightly colored atmosphere and the imaginative ideas, such as a costume as a Pattex adhesive with the motto "We stick one!", Contributed to the great mood. The event was a complete success and brought together the community to celebrate the joy of the carnival, such as meinzirk.at reported.

a festival full of colors and creativity

The anticipation for the driving of the fool was noticeable and the spectators did not miss the spectacle. The numerous groups had put a lot of effort into their costumes, which made the variety of creative ideas clear. The carnival parade was accompanied by the great music of the accompanying group, which further heated up the jubilant mood. The event that has been popular for years stands for community spirit and the return to normality after difficult times when the festival could not take place because of the pandemic, like Noen.at emphasized.
