Ski heroes in action: Charity races ensures radiant faces!
Saalbach, Österreich - At the "Krone Charity Race" in Saalbach on Monday, Matthias "Mothl" shone with joy while praising the ski World Cup in the highest tones. The former ski racer, who was a forerunner of the event, described the atmosphere at the finish as huge. The mood was electrifying, and even if Mayer plays with his "former", he emphasizes: patience is the key.
The event not only attracted the ski greats like Vincent Kriechmayr, but also many celebrities who enjoyed the route on the racing-free Monday. The aim was to come as close as possible to a reference period set up by Michaela Kirchgasser and Marlies Raich as close as possible. Mario Reiter was able to win with his team, while Raich, who also drove at the event, said: "I generally go a lot of skiing and of course you like to be there at such an event." Olympic champions such as Lara Vadlau and Lukas Mähr as well as ex-national mentorman Michael Konel and actress Angelika Niedetzky also joined the star athletes. Surprisingly, the donation, which was collected by the event, was surprising: proud 90,000 euros for sports aid. This was duly celebrated at the subsequent award ceremony in the Home of Snow, while the cheerful atmosphere already started the evening before at the sports help hut evening on the Wieseralm, as the reported.
