Scandal around Villa Aurora: Valued claims for damages of 30,000 euros!
Villa Aurora, 1160 Wien, Österreich - The Villa Aurora in Ottakring, a once popular destination, is at the center of a scandal that leaves numerous injured parties. After years of vacancy and repeated delays around the reopening, several service providers and guests are now criticized due to financial losses. According to Today.at , a gardener has not yet received any money. An artist who provided 30 pictures for reopening also misses five of these works, which is equivalent to a loss of around 6,000 euros.
The number of those affected is growing, as more and more guests report on events that have not taken place. A case concerns a person who had paid 1,000 euros for a celebration on the occasion of an event that was never held. When the guests were in front of the villa on the agreed date, it was closed and there was no previous cancellation. Those affected see this a massive breach of trust and have already filed advertisements on how the ORF records in a report. At the same time, the owner of the villa, the Hallmann Holding, has filed a lawsuit against the previous tenant and restaurateur Marc Moosleitner because he has not paid rents and running costs.
Litigation and uncertain future
The situation is further tightened, because the legal disputes are dragging on. According to wien.orf.at the court date was canceled because the lawsuit to Moosleitner was not delivered. The economic future of Villa Aurora is therefore uncertain because the evacuation procedure has not yet been decided. This prevents the owner from renting the property again or using it elsewhere. The villa, which had hoped for a fresh start, is now experiencing a dramatic setback that shakes trust in the company.
