Marktgemeinde, Österreich - On December 30, 2024, an atmospheric New Year's Eve festival took place in the market town, which attracted over 200 guests. a contemplative Advent for the older generation
Just a day before, on December 1, 2024, the community invited the older generation to a festive Advent celebration in the Christmas -decorated hall of the stage host House. Here the mayor welcomed numerous guests, including the vice mayor and municipal representative, as well as the technical employee Jörg Schnelzer, who was responsible for lighting technology. A varied program offered musical contributions from the music school ensemble, under the direction of director Martha Lodi-Hobel. The Advent mood was reinforced by Christmas carols, from the Zither player Gerlinde Tiefenbacher, who has been involved in these celebrations for 25 years.
The appearance of Regina Sturm, who enchanted the audience with her wonderful voice, was particularly touching. From the pen of the retirement chairwoman, Erna Ebner, there were also amusing poems that made some laughs.
