Fool Guard Göttelfingen celebrates 55 years of colorful carnival magic!

Göttelfingen, Deutschland - On January 7, 2025, the Fool Guard Göttelfingen celebrated its 55th anniversary of the Fasnet. The opening ceremony took place around the parish hall and was first led by two women, chairman Sandra Pejic and Sarah Häffner. The event was accompanied by sunny weather, which also underlined the festive atmosphere. The opening speech was kept in rhyme and delighted those present.

The fool's guild Göttelfingen at a glance

The Fool Guard Göttelfingen was founded in 1970 and is active during the Fasnetzeit. The Göttelfingen region is located in the Gäu, between Horb am Neckar and Nagold and is known for the breweries in Baisingen and Hochdorf. Around 150 active members are organized in the guild, which are divided into five different groups:

• clowns
• dance guard
• Mohopser
• Hopfen-Zopfler
• foolrot
