Döblinger Hauptstraße 76, 1190 Wien, Österreich - The year 2025 becomes a very special year for the city of Vienna, since Johann Strauss's 200th birthday is celebrated. On this occasion, the House of Strauss announced an extensive series of concerts that build on the traditional performances of the composer and his family. The event location will be the historic Casino Zögernitz, which was opened by Johann Straus's father in 1837 and serves as a tribute to the Strauss dynasty.
In the Casino Zögernitz Casino, the last original preserved hall will be found, in which all four members of the Strauss family appeared. This historical site was extensively renovated in 2022, whereby the historical substance was preserved and modern technology was integrated in order to act as a first -class event place. The concert hall is one of only two Biedermeier concert halls in Vienna and was made accessible to the public.

over 160 concert dates are planned as part of the trim year. A special event for press representatives: Inside, April 7, 2025. The program provides for an exciting evening that begins at 6:00 p.m. with a visit to the interactive exhibition in the Strauss Museum. From 8:00 p.m. a champagne reception is offered in the octagon, followed by a live concert with the House of Strauss Orchestra in the historic Strauss-Hall, which is accompanied by an impressive visual staging and light show.

The year 2025 will not only be shaped by the events in the House of Strauss. The city of Vienna plans a comprehensive cultural program that includes 65 productions and 3 exhibitions. These events will take place at 69 different locations in Vienna and cover a variety of artistic disciplines, including classic concerts, operettas, theater performances, dance and even circus art.
The wide -ranging program is divided into three pillars and addresses a diverse audience. Preparations for this extraordinary cultural year are eagerly awaited and promise to captivate both locals and visitors.
