Great encouragement for the first folk music Hoagascht in Tristach!

Tristach, Österreich - The Tristach community hall was the scene of an exciting musical event on February 27, 2025. Filled to the last place, around 50 music students presented: Inside from the music schools Lienzer Talboden, Matrei-Iseltal and Sillian Pustertal, an impressive program at the first joint "folk music". The event included a variety of traditional folk music pieces, including Polkas, waltz and march, played and sung from a good 15 groups that ranged from a guitar trio to classic dance music. This ensured a lively ambience and an honest enthusiasm, which was clearly noticeable among the young talents and their teachers, as Dolomitenstadt reported.

Another highlight of cultural life in Tristach took place on May 20, 2023 when the Tristach band for its annual spring concert under the motto "Music is?" invited. Under the musical direction of Christian Kröll, loyal members were honored for their longstanding membership. Parents and children of the elementary school supported the moderation by the creative duo Emma Blassing and Johannes Linder, who delighted the audience with polkas, marches and melodic medley. The musical highlights included the concert march "Salemonia" and a Disney Medley. In addition, eight musicians received: inside, including Simone Oberkofler and Daniela Ausserlechner for 25 years, as well as several members for 40 and 50 years of belonging the Medal of Merit of the Tyrolean brass music association, whereby the honors were by no means limited to musical achievements, such as Mk-tristach reported.
