Grabenstätt awakens Christmas market tradition: a festival for all the senses!

Last weekend, Grabenstätt experienced the exciting premiere of the two -day Sossau Christmas market, which was organized by the Meltl family together with regional local associations in Gut Sossau. The aim of the event was to revive the tradition of the once popular Grabenstätter Christmas market. The event was accompanied by numerous visitors and a happy pre -Christmas mood. As already mentioned, there was a lively coming and going in the festively decorated and impressively illuminated courtyard in the evening, which only presented regional products. New and exciting-the market offered not only culinary, but also a variety of craftsmanship, such as rosenheim24.de reported.

The visitors were able to indulge in the stalls of the Grabenstätter clubs with regional delicacies, including mulled wine and sweet waffles, while children were able to live out their creativity in the elves' workshop. A varied program with musical performances created a festive atmosphere and entertained the visitors. Among other things, the Flügelhorn duo Tanner and the Grabenstätt youth band contributed to the musical framework. The handmade products of local artisans, such as special wool products and sheep skins, were very important, as well as the "veggie trap" specially created for the market. According to ovb-online.de, the products were so popular from time to time.

After the positive response, everyone involved agreed that this first Sossau Christmas market should definitely experience a sequel next year. The combination of regional identity, gastronomic offers and craftsmanship has proven to be an effective recipe to put visitors in a pre -Christmas mood and to establish a new tradition.
