The current leisure activities in Brück are particularly inadequate on weekends and on vacation, which is why the search for a suitable location for the new meeting now begins. The idea of using the multi -generation club "Alte Korbmacherei" for this purpose has proven to be intolerable. Instead, the young people demand a weatherproof, centrally located meeting point near the train station and the school campus. The current pavilion between the small tarpaulin and the natural pool only serves as a meeting point in warm weather.

The proposal to consider the old splash railway was submitted, but renovation is necessary. Leonard Stoof and Lynn Grund have merged with around 20 active supporters to advance the initiative. The director Matthias Ryll was commissioned to check suitable municipal properties or objects, while the administration is looking for possible funding. No decision has yet been made who will lead the youth club, and the costs of the project have so far been unclear, but a six -digit amount is to be reserved in the budget.

In addition to the planned youth club, there is already an active youth offer in the community. Young people meet regularly at the youth club in Brück and Merheim, where they have the opportunity to take part in various activities.
