Contemplative sounds: Alpine Christmas inspires Bad Reichenhall!

On Sunday, the sold -out event "Alpine Christmas" took place in the Royal Kurhaus in Bad Reichenhall. Under the direction of Martin Fuchsberger, the conductor of the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic, the visitors experienced a varied and contemplative program that united the upcoming holidays.

Martin Fuchsberger welcomed the guests and gave an overview of the evening program. A highlight of the evening was the performance by Hans Auer, the head of the Hammerauer and Elstätingen musicians, who told anecdotes and played on the harp himself. He was supported by his daughter Veronika Schoosleitner, who accompanied him on the chordzither. Particularly noteworthy was the use of a xylophone that musically discussed wintry carriage rides, while a brass solo was reminiscent of snow flurry and fireplace.

traditional sounds and Christmas carols

The musical performance included singing interludes by Katharina Pföß, Lisbeth Genghammer and Veronika Schoosleitner, who presented traditional Christmas carols such as "Silent Night" in Bavarian dialect, "It becomes Scho Dumpa", "Lord and" Lord and God ". The event conveyed the Christmas story, shortly before Christmas Eve, and set a special focus on peace in the world and musical coexistence.
