Advent mood in the cathedral garden café: enjoyment and art outdoors!

A festive highlight in the heart of Speyer: The cathedral garden café opens its gates for the "Advent mood in the cathedral garden café", which is eagerly awaited on the weekend of December 7th and 8th. From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., guests can feast and enjoy in a winter ambience at standing tables outdoors. Co -owner Susan Banks promises a delicious selection, including hearty soups, crispy tarte flambé, sweet cinnamon waffles and fine pastries - a festival for the senses!

But that's not all! The event is enriched by talented artists: Florist Alexandra Remus as well as Claudia and Patrick Kästner, who work with gold, silver and natural stone, present their works. The decoration of the café is also tough - carpenter Thomas Alfter has designed a special design that underlines the festive mood. Also new is a standing counter made for this occasion that rounds off the experience.

The cathedral garden café, which was taken over by Banks and Alfter in 2023, specialized in special events during the winter time, while regular operation is resting by April at the latest. If the response on the Advent weekend is positive, there could be a repetition in January or February. An event that you shouldn't miss!
