Pfaffstätter crib lovers inspire with masterful works of art!

At this year's exhibition of the Pfaffstätter Krippenfreunde in Pfaffstätt, around 50 impressive cribs were presented. Natural builders such as Max Katzlberger and his colleagues Norfried Kronsteiner as well as Richard Kraiger welcomed prominent guests, including district chairman Michael Kendlbacher and Mayor Wolfgang Gerner. The latter praised the artistry of the craftsmen and the variety of cribs made from Alpine and oriental traditions. A special highlight was the presentation of a crib to the former district captain Georg Wojak, who represents the birthplace of composer Franz Xaver Gruber as a crib house. Wojak pointed out the symbolism of the cribs and combined them with the intangible cultural heritage of the famous Christmas song "Silent Night". This special connection underlines the cultural importance of the cribs and their role in the Christmas season, such as meindezirk.at

The cultural events at this time brought people together and celebrate the traditions in their diverse forms.
