Fairytale Christmas: Christmas market in the Grunewald hunting lodge!

Jagdschloss Grunewald, Berlin, Deutschland - A magical experience awaits visitors on the second weekend in Advent in the Grunewald hunting lodge! On December 7th and 8th, the castle courtyard transforms into a festive fairytale land that captivates families and children. Here, fairy tale figures such as Ms. Holle, Hansel and Gretel as well as Cinderella awaken to live and mix under the guests. A storyteller takes visitors into the world of stories, while handicrafts are available for the whole family. A special highlight: a photo area in the hunting wizard magazine where unique Christmas card photos can be created!

The festive atmosphere is supplemented by numerous stands with handicrafts and traditional treats. Regional exhibitors present their products, while visitors can be pampered with bratwurst, gingerbread, roasted almonds as well as mulled wine and hot chocolate. On a small stage, musical entertainment ensures the right accompaniment of the fairytale hustle and bustle.

The Christmas market on the Grunewald hunting lodge is open on both days from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. After a short walk through the Grunwald, visitors reach the castle on the banks of Lake Grunewald. The hunting lodge, the oldest preserved castle in Berlin, is already celebrating the 18th Christmas market this year. Guided tours of the castle are included in the admission price of 3.50 euros (reduced 2 euros). Children up to six years have free admission. After dark, historically dressed night watchmen accompany the guests back to the bus stop on Königin-Luise-Straße/Clayallee. There are only a few parking spaces available for drivers at the Paulsborn on Hüttenweg 90.
