On January 4, 2025, the New Year's Festival took place in Ludwigsfelde, to which an estimated 10,000 visitors came to Rathausplatz. The event offered a varied program and served as a ceremonial start into the new year.

As early as 5:00 p.m., guests were able to enjoy a large fireworks and live music. The visitors were also spoiled: the former Ludwigsfeld Maurice Magister sold Quarkballchen at the "Zuckersünt" stand. In addition, the carousels and the diverse stands with treats were heavily frequented. The music program in particular addressed the hit fans of older vintage. The fireworks that started shortly after half past eight took about ten minutes and was considered with applause and applause.
