The rumors are true: Kateryna Mizera and Patrick Seebauer are the new professionals at "Dancing Stars 2025"! After a gripping casting showdown that started on November 8, 2024, the two dancers in the final convinced the jury. This was announced in a report by OE24. In the grand finale, Kateryna Mizera, the 26-year-old Ukrainian state champion in Professional Ballroom, presented an impressive show dance that raised the mood for the next level.

Patrick Seebauer, a talented dance teacher from Styria, made the audience marvel at with his performance on the subject of “Grease”. As already mentioned in the preparation of Musikmagazin.at, the casting was led by an experienced jury, which included Maria Angelini-Santner and Baláz's Ekker. Bruce Darnell appeared as a special guest and helped the jury in the final selection. The casting offered exciting challenges in which the professional candidates and amateurs had to demonstrate their skills to secure the coveted professional ticket for the upcoming season.

The way to the show

Both Kateryna and Patrick characterized their experiences in the casting as incredible and instructive. Kateryna emphasized: "Casting was a great experience, even if the conditions were not that easy." Your dance partner should ideally also be willing to learn and share the passion for dancing. Patrick, who was able to gain experience at the last "Dancing Stars" opening, also looks forward to the new challenge. "I'm looking forward to the challenge and we will do our best," says the Styrian optimistic.

Dancing Stars 2025 starts in March and is moderated by Mirjam Weichselbraun and Andi Knoll. In addition to Mizera and Sebauer, several prominent participants have already announced themselves for the upcoming season, including actress Julia Cencig and Koch Andi Wojta.
