Comics conquer Linz: Festival inspires with over 200 artists!
The Nextcomic Festival in Linz, which takes place from March 28th to 29th, becomes an important event for comic lovers. Over 200 artists present their works in different locations, including the Ursulinenhof and the Moviemento Kino. Curator Katharina eight and founder Gottfried Gusenbauer presented the diverse program in a press conference that also includes an online comic symposium, such as Kleine Zeitung reported. In the Theater Phönix, the author Orhan Kipcak from his work "G-like Ganglion", accompanied by draftsman Norbert Gmeindl on the Bontempi organ.
The presentation is particularly exciting in the Deep Space of the Ars Electronica Center, where the masters: Interior School for Communication Design Comics makes comics tangible with the help of cell phones. The fairytale "The Cold Heart" is also shown as a comic adaptation in the Linz foundation house, while for the youngest visitors the picture book history "Die Kleine Hummel Bommel" is presented in the grotto track on the Pöstlingberg.

A particularly touching element of the festival is the exhibition on the comic artist Lily Renée in the OÖ Kunstverein. She escaped the Nazis with a children's transport and later began success in the United States to succeed with her superhero drawings.
