The anger is big! Both the customers of the shops that often work in the buildings of the Hofmanns and the residents are upset. The parking lot was originally intended as a public space, but the family of owners unilaterally lifted the agreement that provided public use over two years ago. Now the parking lot is a locked private site!

Litigation around the parking lot

The situation is complicated: According to the building law authority of the Rhein-Neckar district, the parking spaces must be accessible to residents and customers, since they are assigned via construction load. But the grids continue to stand, although the construction work, which has been given as the reason for the blocking, is completed. Marcel Hofmann explains that the barrier grids were necessary to avoid accidents and to prevent unauthorized vehicles from blocking the place. Nevertheless, the question remains when the grids will finally be removed and the parking spaces are accessible to the public again.

The building law office remains optimistic and is in contact with the owners to find a solution. But the patience of the residents and customers is at the end! Marcel Hofmann evades the question of the future use of the parking lot and threatens legal steps if the reporting does not meet his ideas.
