Telekom strengthens mobile phone: 51 locations in the Alzey-Worms district!

In an impressive step to improve mobile phone supply, Deutsche Telekom opened a new location in Offstein in the Alzey-Worms district. This is not just an anniversary, but a huge leap in the communication landscape that significantly increases the reception in the region. In addition to the better mobile phone coverage, residents in buildings also benefit from a clearer reception. This new location is strategically placed along the Rhineland-Palatinate-Süd-Saarland railway line and is therefore a lifeline for commuters!

With a total of 51 companies, Telekom shows no signs of stop. Almost 100 percent of households in the district can now access a strong mobile network. But that's not all! Another 15 locations are on the plan by 2026, and the technology is lifted to a new level- with planned extensions of the LTE and 5G network on 35 radio masts. "The need for bandwidth continuously increases by around 30 percent per year," explains Julia della Peruta, company spokeswoman for Telekom. The company gives full throttle when expansion!

Telekom also relies on local cooperation to secure areas for new locations. Land owners who want to rent their place can contact the German radio tower directly. Telekom currently operates over 36,000 mobile phone locations and adds around 1,500 new ones annually. Get ready because the mobile radio revolution in the Alzey-Worms district is in full swing!
