Hammelwarden celebrates together: Schützenverein invites you to cup shooting!

Last weekend, the Hammelwarder Schützenverein organized a village community cup shooting to promote cohesion between the local clubs. This initiative was under the motto "Strengthening the village community" and aimed to support the local community through sporting activities and social get -together.

A total of five clubs took part in the competition, with the participation, according to the organizers, still showing potential for more growth. The competitors fought exciting duels, and the results were closely together. The HTV took 5th place with 72 rings. The Hammelwarder Shantychor was able to secure the 4th place with 265 rings. The Hammelwarder Bürgerverein won the 3rd place with 291 rings, followed by the Lower Saxony residential property, formerly the Siedlerbund, who took the 2nd place with 347 rings.

The Hammelwarden volunteer fire brigade crowned the competition as a overall winner with 361 rings and was allowed to take the trophy home.
