Marco Rossi: Austria's ice hockey star breaks records in the NHL!

Klagenfurt, Österreich - Marco Rossi, the ice hockey wonderkind from Vorarlberg, wrote history in the NHL! With an assist in the game against the Vancouver Canucks, he hired Michael Grabner's record and is now only behind Thomas Vanek on the list of best Austrian scorers. Rossi has now reached 52 points this season - 21 goals and 31 assists. It is an impressive result that shows that the 23-year-old is on the best way to step into the footsteps of his compatriots. According to Krone Rossi the Minnesota Wild was still unable to help victory, because they lost the match with 1: 3.

In an exciting season, Rossi exceeded the 50 points mark and is the third Austrian player who achieves this in a single NHL season. Thomas Vanek runs over 50 points with eight seasons and holds the record for most points of an Austrian in one season when he scored 84 points for the Buffalo Sabres in 2006/07. Michael Grabner landed at 52 points in 2010/11. Rossi still has 24 games ahead of him, and if he holds his pace at 0.86 points per game, he could even achieve 70 points, which would secure a place in the Annals in NHL history, like Kurier reported.
