LASK celebrates confident victory against Hartberg and remains unbeaten!
Hartberg, Österreich - On April 12, 2025, LASK had another victory in the Bundesliga. Directed by coach Markus Schopp, the team defeated TSV Hartberg 1-0. Maximilian Entrup scored the decisive goal in the 22nd minute and thus provided the foundation for success. This was already the third victory in a row, with the LASK stayed without a goal in these games.
The LASK is now 24 points on the top of the table, while Hartberg follows in second place with 16 points. In a game that was initially shaped by many bad passes, the LASK showed a controlled performance and gave the Hartbergers little chance of playing out their strengths in possession of the ball. At the beginning of the game, Entrup had the opportunity for an early goal, but failed with a header.
important decisions in the starting eleven
trainer Schopp made four changes in the starting eleven after promotion to the Cup quarter-finals. For example, Robert Zulj, Ivan Ljubic, Andres Andrade and George Bello were on the pitch. Paul Komposch and Donis Avdijaj returned to the Hartberger first eleven, while YouUBa Diarra played for the blocked Tobias Kainz in the starting formation.
The game picked up in the first half, but without Hartberg causing a lot of danger. The LASK was on the trigger, but despite some good possibilities, among other things by Robert Zulj and Florian Flecker, they failed to expand the result before the half -time break. Hartberg only had a significant opportunity shortly before the change of sides, when Dominik Prokop Patrik Mijic used, which was not successful.
injuries and cards
In the second half, the game became more hectic. Manuel Pfeifer injured himself at the beginning of the second half and had to be replaced. Diarra saw the yellow-red card in the 72nd minute after fouling. Despite these developments, the LASK was able to keep control of the game and secure the three points without major challenges.
The LASK has not lost a game in Hartberg since 2021. While the guests are in the qualification with two defeats and a victory, the LASK will get into the upcoming games with a wide chest, which will take place against WSG Tyrol next week.
