Municipality of Kossebau blooms: new meeting place and church renovations!

In an impressive act of community support, the parish of Kossebau recently realized three important projects with the help of generous funding. Pastor Matthias Kruppke beams with joy over the successes that were made possible by working with the Bürgerenergie Windpark Gagel GmbH & Co. KG and a Bochum financial institution. The greatest financial support, an impressive amount of 26,000 euros, flowed into the cultivation of the meeting place in Kossebau. This facility is not just a place for the church, but a meeting point for all citizens who strengthens the community and promotes social life. Pastor Kruppke emphasizes the need to maintain such places to secure the quality of life in the country.

In addition, the renewal of the church windows in the Stapeler church was funded with 11,872 euros. This measure was urgently needed because the ravages of time had gnawed on the historic building. The main entrance of the St. Nikolaikirche in Bretsch also received support with 6,132 euros. This church, which dates from the 13th century, is the oldest building in Bretsch and is used for numerous church and cultural events. The creation of accessibility at the entrance is an important step to make access easier for everyone, especially in a society that is shaped by demographic change.

Pastor Kruppke would like to thank the municipality and the Altmärkische Höhe municipal council, especially with Mayor Bernd Prange, for their support. These projects are not only financial investments, but also a sign of hope and cohesion in the region.
