An exciting day for schooling in Vienna! On February 24, 2025, impressive workshops took place as part of the Wiener Bildungschrungs participating schools were inspired by specialist experts. Under the motto "strong together", ideas for communication, interculturality and violence prevention were exchanged and approaches for challenges in everyday school life were developed. Birgit Goschler, headmistress of the GTMS Medwegweg, commented on the success of the event: "The school team workshop is a great way to get new ideas and get inspiration."
common goals for better education
The innovative Project Wiener Education was launched in order to continue to develop Vienna's mandatory schools and give them the opportunity to make individual development processes independently. The program supports schools in creating an appreciative learning environment through organizational advice, coaching and workshops. These measures are specially designed for schools that have special challenges. "With today's workshops we bring schools and subject -specific cooperation partners together," summarizes Petra Loinger, project manager. The signing of framework agreements by headmaster and school quality managers completed the day and marked the official start of a two -year program time.
This comprehensive range of support includes additional budgets for measures for school attracting and further training for teachers. In addition, targeted workshops are offered to strengthen school quality. In this way, the sense of community within schools is promoted and the individual situation of each individual school is taken into account. This is also evident in the cooperation with the University of Education in Vienna and the Education Directorate to develop tailor -made offers that meet the specific needs of every school. The previous successes and positive feedback from the participating schools testify to a promising approach to improve the educational landscape in Vienna.
